STATIONS
Mount Charleston Fire & Rescue operates two staffed fire stations and one volunteer station to ensure adequate coverage and timely responses to emergencies in the area. The combination of professional firefighters and dedicated volunteers optimize resources and provide comprehensive fire and rescue services to the residents and visitors alike.
LEE CANYON
FIRE STATION #856
In 1982, Fire Station #856 was built to help Mount Charleston Fire & Rescue serve both sides of Mount Charleston.
KYLE CANYON
FIRE STATION #853
Station #853 was founded in 1962 to keep the people of Mount Charleston safe after the Mount Charleston Lodge burned down.
VOLUNTEER
FIRE STATION #853
Volunteers have always played a major role in keeping Mount Charleston safe. In 2010, their station was completed with an office and all amenities.
